It is not a day to discuss clothes, or makeup or anything else, but to encourage you to pray.
Pray for the Kirk Family and pray for America.
Pray for the hearts of America. On Monday, we were horrified by a stabbing of a young woman on mass transit with a knife, Wednesday we are horrified by shootings of Charlie and students; on Thursday we remember the death of 3000 by planes into buildings; today we are horrified by the beheading of a Dallas man with a machete; and I was chased into my home by a man using a lawn mower blade.
Evil will find many ways to attack and prevail. Please join me in praying for the hearts of this country and for evil to be stopped.
Devastation does not adequately cover what many are feeling.
But, I do believe Charlie was met with the words…Well Done Good and Faithful Servant. What an inspirational and amazing young man. He was so courageous with his faith.
Actor Victor Webster penned this poem on Instagram:
“A voice fell silent, yet the echos stay
A father, a husband, taken away.
He urged us to speak, even when views collide
To bridge the divide where differences reside.
His cause was freedom – the right to be heard.
To weigh each thought…each challenging word.
He dreamed of a world where we could coexist
The freedom to agree or disagree must persist
To sit at one table, to listen, to hear
To share the burdens, the doubts, and the fear
Not always agreeing, but still side by side
With dialogue open with nothing to hide
Tragic the loss, but his lesson remains: Speech is the bond that loosens the chains
Dialogue must endure through our joys and our pains
Agree or not, we must have the freedom to state
Our truth, and to communicate without all of the hate.”

Charlie was full of love, joy, courage, and the grace of Jesus Christ.
May his legacy continue, and may we all love one another, no matter what we believe.
I will see you on Saturday.
